Tax Services Program Enrollment
Welcome to the Tax Services program. We are excited that you are interested in offering your members expert tax services and special member savings from TurboTax and H&R Block. Below is a standardized marketing plan recommendation and link requirements to receive Tax Services Program benefits.
STANDARDIZED MARKETING PLAN
During the program period of January 2025 – April 2025, marketing timing is of the utmost importance. Your members will start looking for tax services and discounts in early January and 50% of them are likely to start their taxes by early February.
- Email Communication – Send two dedicated Tax Services emails in Q1 and one in Q2 to your members on the dates specified below. These are critical dates when many of your members will be starting or finishing their taxes.

- January 9 - Email #1
- January 23 - Email #2
- February 6 - Email #3
- Q2 Late Season Filers
- Mobile App Placement – Promote the Tax Services program within your mobile app newsfeed, in-app messaging, push notification, banner ads or text links during peak filing times:
- Peak #1: January 1, 2025 - February 16, 2025
- Peak #2: April 1, 2025 - April 15, 2025
- Online Banking Placement – Display a Tax Services banner and/or approved messaging in your online banking platform from January 1, 2025 – April 15, 2025.
- Early and late season banners are available and will automatically update if you use the HTML banners in the Partner Center.
Additional Marketing Recommendations
- Social Media/Blog – Include Tax Services posts on your social media platforms and Blog
- Newsletter – Include a Tax Services digital ad or messaging in your Q4 and Q1 newsletters
- Digital Lobby Display – Place a Tax Services digital ad on your digital lobby display
- 1099 Forms and Documents - Include messaging and links for Tax Services
USE OF MARKETING MATERIALS AND LINKS: When deploying marketing efforts, you agree to use our HTML coded assets or link all digital marketing assets, including assets created inhouse by you, to your credit union's custom click URL provided in our Partner Center.
Using your credit union's custom click URL or HTML code is required to enable the following benefits:
- Ensures member access to offer or savings
- Provides a co-branded microsite experience for your members
- Tracks member sales associated with your credit union
- Allows CUSG to track your executed marketing eliminating reporting requirements
